CALLS are growing for energy bills to be frozen for two years.
The move would see households have their gas and electricity kept at the present level of £1,971 a year.
Two of the biggest industry leaders, ScottishPower and Eon, are pushing for a bold scheme that would see suppliers cover the cost by borrowing from a "deficit fund".
