Party Pieces sold children's party accessories ranging from balloons to fancy dress costumes.
It saw revenue shrink to &pound;3.2m last year from &pound;4.5m in 2021, and slid to a &pound;900,000 net loss before&nbsp;tax. The firm, which had 12 staff, owed &pound;612,685 to the Inland Revenue.
Other debts included &pound;218,749 to Royal Bank of Scotland, while &pound;456,008 was owed to Royal Mail, Google and Solihull Moors Football Club.
Kate worked for Party Pieces a decade ago before taking up life with the royal family.
