The Welsh Parliament is set to vote today on a new proposal to ban Pinocchio politicians from telling monster fibs.
If passed it would make it the first parliament in the world to make lying by MPs a criminal offence.
Former Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price said: "The public are tired of seeing certain politicians lie with complete impunity.
"It is not enough for us as lawmakers to throw up our hands in disgust.
"We have the power to do something. We have the power to change the rules so that all politicians act with integrity, honesty and respect." The motion has support from politicians of all four parties in the Senedd.
