Liars need very good memories

It's one of the reasons I had to endure a business lunch with him where the meat and two veg on display weren't just on the plate. The Worzel Gummidge tribute act had totally forgotten to do his flies up.

So if anyone is even remotely surprised that our former PM's defence for "partygate" is that he had been reassured by civil servants that he wasn't breaking any rules then they're two sarnies short of a buffet.

The fact that they were actually HIS rules is neither here nor there in political clown world. Like, I say, the actual details of the nonsensical lockdown regulations inflicted on us probably never even entered Bozo's head.

He might have been the boss but it was Hancock, Whitty, Vallance and probably bloody Larry the Downing Street cat who crossed the "t" and dotted the "i" The buck never stops with Bozo. It's always passed on.
