BRITS should get used to paying a fortune for their weekly big shop. 

Minette Batters, president of the National Farmers’ Union, hinted that higher food prices are here to stay ahead of crunch talks at No10.

She is joining “farm to fork” representatives of supermarkets, food companies and farmers to urge PM Rishi Sunak to act to lower prices.
