<p>A 12-year-old lad was killed and two girls, also 12, were seriously hurt in a shooting at Viertola school in Vantaa, on the outskirts of Helsinki, Finland.</p>
<p>A police statement said: &ldquo;The suspect has told that he was the target of bullying. The suspect had transferred to the school at the beginning of this year.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Some of the children reportedly hid during the attack. The suspect was&nbsp;detained less than an hour after the shooting and was found with a handgun licensed to a relative.</p>
