ST HELENS - 26
HULL KR - 18
JAMES ROBY wrote himself into the record books with another monster display – and a try.
The 36-year-old hooker celebrated his 455th Super League game with his usual trademark brilliance.
Roby, who knocked previous holder Kevin Sinfield off top spot, played the full 80 minutes, scored a try, and came up with a try-saving tackle.
Coach Kristian Woolf said: “He was nine out of 10 with everything but every one of his games has looked very similar. That’s why he deserves all the accolades he gets.”
Roby was given a guard of honour by both teams before the game to celebrate his special milestone.
