CALLUM SHEPHERD yesterday said he was “very disappointed” to lose the ride on Betfred Derby second favourite Ambiente Friendly to Robert Havlin.
Despite being nearly twice the age of Shepherd, the Gredley Family have turned to last weekend’s winner of the Lockinge Stakes citing the 50-year-old’s experience, though he has only ridden in two Derbys.
