STEVE BORTHWICK’S Calcutta Cup plans took another hit when Dan Kelly was ruled out of England’s Six Nations opener with Scotland on Saturday. 

New head coach Borthwick now has to negotiate a midfield minefield with Elliot Daly ruled out of the tournament and Henry Slade out against the Scots with a hip injury.
