A STUNNED hairdresser told her husband "don't be stupid" as he revealed they had won £184million on the EuroMillions.

In that moment, Jess and Joe Thwaite became Britain's biggest-ever lottery winners and are now richer than pop singer Adele, and among the nation's 1,000 wealthiest people.

The Gloucester couple's lives changed forever when sales engineer Joe opened an email at 5 am on his phone last week revealing the eye-watering win.

Joe, 49, said: "I looked at the amount and I put the phone down.

"And I picked the phone up again, and I looked at the amount again. I first thought it was in thousands."

But then he "started counting the digits," adding it was "amazing, but also surreal"!
