TWO million people face traffic chaos as one of Britain's busiest motorways shuts to help snakes and lizards cross safely.

Around 200,000 vehicles were stuck in jams yesterday after a five-mile stretch on the M25 was closed for roadworks. It won't reopen until 6am tomorrow.
