A PRISONER was busted by guards who noticed a "suspicious sausage-shaped bulge" in his trousers after a visit.
Drugs were passed to Ramzadene Abdellouche as he hugged a visitor before they left.
Guards at HMP Peterborough spotted the bulge in the 21-year old's trousers and then searched him before he was taken back to his cell.
They uncovered a parcel containing cannabis with a prison value of more than &pound;1,000.
Abdellouche, inset, who is serving 14 months for possession of an offensive weapon, admitted the offence and had another four months added to his sentence.
Detective Sergeant Paul Twell, of Cambridgeshire Police, said: "Quite how Abdellouche thought he could get away with such a brazen move is beyond me.
"I hope this shows how seriously we take these incidents and it acts as a deterrent to others thinking of trying to smuggle illegal items into prison." The visitor who was not named - was also arrested and charged with conveying a prohibited article into prison.
