Lovers risk having a heart attack and fatal heatstroke by having nookie during the 30C-plus hot spell.
Now experts are warning us to avoid “extreme physical exertion” such as bedroom action until temperatures drop.
The British Heart Foundation advised people not to overheat while the heatwave puts more strain on the body.
It said: “Hot weather means your body has to work harder to keep its core temperature to normal levels, and this puts extra strain on your heart. Stay cool and hydrated.”
