A YOUNG football fan has been left shattered after he was wrongly told he'd won a trip to the Champions League final then offered a £100 voucher as an apology.
Kyro Moore, 18, thought he had bagged the "trip of a lifetime" after entering a competition with Adidas but was devastated to be told it was a mistake.
In a grovelling email, Adidas confirmed he was not actually being sent to the clash between Manchester City and Inter Milan in Istanbul next month and was one of several others who had fallen victim to a glitch in their app.
The car parts warehouse worker, from Kilwinning, Ayrshire, said the blunder had left him "gutted".
He said: "I was absolutely over the moon when I was told I'd won. It's a once in a lifetime experience.
