Saints send chief Brown and Muzz off in super style
YOU JUST CAN'T BYE THIS

STEVEN MacLEAN was delighted to send off Steve Brown and club legend Murray Davidson with a win.

Chairman Brown stepped down after 11 years at the helm while midfield.

Scottish Cup-winner Davidson came off the bench to say his goodbyes after 14 years at McDiarmid Park.

Goals from Drey Wright and Chris Kane, with a penalty, saw of Livingston and boss MacLean said: "It was great.

"The chairman leaving and Muzz going, I was just delighted for everyone concerned.

"I was keen to give the chairman three points for his last game and send him off happy. He's been fantastic for the club, you saw with the display the crowd did for him.

"I think everyone appreciates what the Brown family has done for this club.

That was evident with banners which read "The Brown Generation, 37 years", alluding to the family ownership from Geoff to his son Steve.

It was the most successful period in the club's history, picking up three cups and Brown pointed out the managers he worked with had made Europe, paying special mention to double cup-winning boss Callum Davidson when he took the mic pre-match.
