There's been speculation that boss Gregor Townsend will give the eight-including Fagerson who toured with the Lions last summer a well-deserved holiday.
That would allow some emerging players to get valuable game-time as Townsend looks to build his squad's depth ahead of next year's World Cup.
But Fagerson believes going to South America with a weakened team could be catastrophic.
