WE CAN'T GO HOME IN FEAR OF XL BULLY!

A TERRIFIED mum has been forced to flee her home after her pet’s throat was ripped open by an XL bully.

Amanda Brogan and son Kieren, 25, were “traumatised” after 10-year old Ziggy was mauled on Saturday on Cambusdoon Road, Glasgow, outside their flat.

The Spanish rescue dog was taken to a vet who performed surgery on three deep puncture wounds to her throat and shoulder.

She also suffered numerous puncture wounds and bruising across her entire body after being savaged by two off-lead beasts.

Mum-of-two Amanda told the Record she had repeatedly raised concerns about her neighbor’s two devil dogs with housing chiefs over the last 18 months.

Just two weeks ago, she told her Wheatley Housing Group officer she feared Ziggy was going to be “torn apart” before the attack.

The 46-year-old said: “We’re all totally traumatised. I’ve moved my stuff out of the flat and I’m staying with my partner now.

“I’m not going back there. I just can’t be there any longer because it’s not safe. My concern is that next time it’s going to be a child and they won’t stand a chance.
