>>> SCOTLAND.. 52 ARGENTINA..29
DUHAN VAN DER MERWE has high expectations for Scotland next year after the team finished this one in style with a big win over Argentina on Saturday.
Asked about targets in 2023, the powerful winger said "to win the World Cup".
And van der Merwe added: "I truly believe we are capable of that. The boys are on fire at the moment and the depth Scotland has might be the best there's ever been, which is a big positive.
"On a Tuesday or Wednesday of match-week, non-playing squad members play against the starting XV and they make it tougher and tougher for us every week.
"So if someone gets injured, someone else comes in and gets the opportunity and we know they'll do the job."
While the performance and result was a major morale boost, van der Merwe acknowledged this autumn has not been all good news. But he insists the team will learn from their disappointing experiences.
