GREGOR TOWNSEND wants his Scotland team to feed off the pain of defeat to New Zealand as they look to raise themselves for one final Autumn Nations Series clash against Argentina.
The plucky Scots dominated the All Blacks for most of the match on Saturday, scoring 23 unanswered points between the 10th and the 60th minute.
But they ran out of steam in the final quarter and couldn't hold on for a win which would have rewritten the history books.
The 23-31 final scoreline means Scotland's 117-year wait for a first win against the mighty All Blacks continues.
Townsend couldn't hide his deep disappointment after the game but stressed the players will be determined to bounce back from that heartbreak.
He insisted: "We're together with the players - you share with the players how you feel and we felt enormous pride at the way they played.
