A TORY MP has been arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual offences spanning seven years.
Met Police confirmed the man, believed to be a backbencher in his 50s, was last night in custody.
It comes as Boris Johnson yesterday boasted to his Cabinet "crime is what we want to focus on".
And 56 MPs are already facing allegations of sexual misconduct in the Commons.
Tory MP Imran Ahmad Khan quit earlier this month after being convicted of sexually assaulting a boy of 15 in 2008.
