STEVE BORTHWICK is set to take charge of England in time for the Six Nations opener against Scotland after Twickenham bosses moved swiftly to replace Eddie Jones.
The outspoken Australian, 62, was sacked yesterday after seven years in charge. It came after a review into England's dismal autumn campaign that saw them win just once in four matches and less than a year before the World Cup in France.
