STRICTLY stars Rose AylingEllis and Giovanni Pernice were honoured with an emotional win at the BAFTA Television Awards.
The dance partners won the must-see moment award for their silent dance on the BBC show.
Rose, 27, said they were “so so proud” of the stunning routine in tribute to the deaf community.
Last night, the EastEnders actress said: “It is a very special moment for us because hopefully it showed how powerful TV can be."
Pernice added: “We knew it was going to give an impact but this went bigger than what we thought.
They saw off stiff competition from ITV's An Audience with Adele, Ant and Dec's dig at Downing Street's lockdown parties on I'm a Celebrity, It's a Sin, RuPaul's Drag Race UK and Squid Game.
Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly won best entertainment show for Saturday Night Takeaway.
