LORRAINE Kelly has revealed she jumped on her husband "like a ninja" when he finally asked her out on a trip to the Highlands.
The TV presenter has been married to husband Steve Smith since 1992 after they met when he worked as a cameraman for TV-am.
She has previously admitted she knew he was "the one" from the moment she laid eyes on him.
But they were friends for a year before getting together, with the wait agonising for Lorraine.
Steve and Lorraine, who was working as a reporter at the time, headed for a shoot in Glen Coe in 1986 where they finally became an item.
She recalled: "It took Steve a year to ask me out. I got very drunk in Glen Coe. We were on tequila with ginger ale. Then I jumped on him like a ninja!
“That was the Friday, he took me to see Dundee United on the Saturday, then that was that,” she told Woman Magazine. “We’ve been together ever since.”
