THE Duchess of Cambridge wore the blue of Scotland as she visited a primary school on a trip north of the Border yesterday.
But her husband, Prince William, said he feared that mixing with children would make his wife broody again.
Kate, 40, met and sang with pupils at St John's Primary in Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire.
She and William, 39, were told about a project where pupils interact with mums and babies to aid their emotional empathy.
Kate, who wore a top from former prime minister's wife Samantha Cameron's Cefinn brand, also showed off a sapphire a engagement ring that once belonged to Princess Diana.
As she cuddled 10-month-old Saul Molloy, William joked: "Can you get my wife out of here before she gets broody?"
