A YOUNG mum has been awarded £17,500 after bosses advertised her job and then Isacked her while she was pregnant.
Sintija Gaikniece, 25, was axed from her sales job at vape shop chain VPZ after her manager told her without showing her any evidence there had been customer complaints about her attitude.
She then discovered the firm had advertised for a replacement a few days before she was let go.
Employment judge Sally Cowen ordered VPZ to pay £17,583.06, including £4000 of lost earnings.
