Royal trio 'to stand in for the Queen' at Trooping the Colour

SENIOR royals may step in for the Queen during Trooping the Colour for the first time in 70 years, it's been revealed.

Plans are thought to be under way for princes Charles and William and Princess Anne to take the royal salute as the monarch struggles with mobility.

It is still hoped the Queen, 96, will be able to attend part of the event at the Horse Guards Parade on June 2.
