ROLF Harris has been cremated in a secret ceremony after dying from cancer aged 93.
The disgraced former entertainer and convicted child sex offender died in his £7million mansion two weeks ago, his family confirmed yesterday.
His death certificate revealed he died of neck cancer and “frailty of old age”.
His family released a statement via his solicitor, saying: “Rolf Harris recently died peacefully surrounded by family and friends and has now been laid to rest.
“They ask that you respect their privacy. No further comment will be made.”
Harris died on May 10, just days before ITVX released the documentary Rolf Harris: Hiding in Plain Sight on May 18.
In it, victims waived their right to anonymity to reveal how the pervert humiliated young girls and sexually assaulted women over decades of his life.
The fallen TV star was convicted in 2014 of 12 counts of indecent assault on four girls including an eight-year-old autograph hunter, two girls in their early teens and his daughter’s friend who suffered a catalogue of abuse over 16 years.
In November 2017, after his release, the Court of Appeal overturned his conviction for indecently assaulting the eight-year-old girl but the other 11 convictions remained.
Among the victims who spoke out in the TV documentary was Karen Gardner, now 61.
