PAMPERED MSPS ARE MAKING A MEAL OF IT

PAMPERED MSPs are moaning about the standard of food at Holyrood - which is cheaper than Greggs and subsidised by the taxpayer to the tune of £75,000 a month.

SNP MSP Christine Grahame, who earns nearly £70,000 a year, took a swipe at the "deteriorating" fare in a canteen and has emailed colleagues to urge them to raise their own concerns.

But their whingeing has been branded "astonishing" by food campaigners, who say they should be concentrating on the cost-ofliving crisis rather than their own taxpayerfunded food.

Sarah Woolley, general secretary of the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers Union, said: "To hear an MSP complain about the quality of meals in their subsidised canteen which is much cheaper than many high street takeaways is astonishing.
