PETER LEVEN has backed Aberdeen attacker Duk to rediscover the form that saw him rip up the Premiership last season.
The Cape Verde international notched 18 goals and six assists in 43 matches in his debut campaign as the Dons recovered from an awful run over Christmas to claim third spot. Duk, who arrived from Benfica B in July 2022, formed a lethal partnership with Bojan Miovski as the pair bagged 36 goals between them – enough to win the Lisbonborn player a spot in the Premiership team of the year.
But things haven’t gone to plan for the 24-year-old this season with his side sorely missing a spark.
Duk has just seven goals and five assists in 42 games in all competitions, with only four strikes coming in the league.
His most recent goals were a double in a 3-3 draw with Motherwell in February.
