One small step for man...one giant Leip for Erling

IT is almost becoming embarrassing now.

Erling Haaland had scored a hat-trick by half-time, got two more after the break and was subbed to a standing ovation having smashed a raft of goalscoring records in one night.

The Norwegian became only the third player - after Lionel Messi for Barcelona in 2012 and Luiz Adriano for Shakhtar Donetsk in 2014 to score five goals in a single Champions League game.

That also took him to 39 goals in all competitions, which means he overtakes a 94-year-old record set by Manchester City striker Tommy Johnson, who netted 38 in the 1928-29 season.

Haaland said: "It's a big night. Firstly I'm proud to play in this competition, I love it. Five goals! To win 7-0 is amazing.

"My super strength is scoring goals. Should I be honest? A lot of goals today, I didn't think.
