A SCOT who trafficked &pound;3.6million worth of class A drugs across the UK was snared after logging trip details on mobile phone notes.
Bailey Highton's key role in an illegal supply plot came to light after police mounted surveillance on a known north Cumbria area organised crime group boss, Robert Smith, during 2022.
Officers seized cash from Smith and heroin which had been bulked out to boost its&nbsp;CAUGHT Bailey Highton quantity and sale value, with hand blenders used to cut drugs. They had previously recovered a package on land linked to Smith which bore Highton's fingerprint.
Smith, of Carlisle, was jailed for nine years in&nbsp;December for conspiring to supply heroin and possessing criminal property.
Highton, 23, of Blantyre, Lanarkshire, was brought down by his own diligence.&nbsp;Calculations based on his notes showed he had moved 15lb of heroin, 9lb of cocaine, 108lb of class B ketamine and 44lb of amphetamine across the UK.
The class A drugs alone, if adulterated, could have potentially been worth &pound;3.6million on the street.
