THE infamous midge has a new rival as climate change has caused mosquitos to invade every part of Scotland.
At least 16 types of mozzies have found their way here due to the warmer and wetter weather.
The most notorious pest we have traditionally put up with have been swarms of midges, who thrive in the summer, especially in the Highlands.
