RISING Scottish golf star Louise Duncan is a clean-living, dedicated athlete who only occasionally samples the good life in moderation.
But her coach and mentor Dean Robertson reckons the 22-year-old from West Kilbride suffered the mother of all hangovers after she burst on to the scene 12 months ago.
Duncan went from relatively unknown outside amateur circles to headline grabber overnight when she made her Major debut at the AIG Women's Open at Carnoustie where she shared 10th spot after being just two shots off the lead going into the final round.
And she proved that her stunning start was no flash in the pan when she was joint third after 18 holes in the same event at Muirfield last week, eventually finishing tied 19th.
