LAUGHING gas will be banned to stop parks becoming "drugtaking arenas" filled with abandoned silver canisters.
Tory minister Michael Gove confirmed the sale and possession of nitrous oxide will be made illegal.
The Levelling Up Secretary said: "We can't have a situation where our parks, public spaces become drug taking arenas... these laughing gas canisters are becoming a scourge."
