DUNDEE has been named Scotland's car crime capital, with owners there most likely to have vehicles broken into or stolen.
Police Scotland received 4512 reports of vehicle crime across the country, between 2021-22, which included the theft of a vehicle, theft from a vehicle, or damage to one. This was up from 2020-21 when there were 4311 cases.
It has sparked fears these rates will rise amid the cost-of-living crisis.
