GOLDEN girl Eilish McColgan yesterday had a triumphant homecoming setting a new European and British 10km road race record at the Great Scottish Run.
McColgan hadn't raced outdoors in Scotland since the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
But she dazzled on her return, shaving a second off her own record, clocking 30:18.
Lesley Bell took silver (36:33), and Ruth Joss was third (37:01).
