TWO vile predators serving jail terms for raping and abusing vulnerable children at a residential unit denied their crimes at the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry.
John Muldoon, 70, and Matthew George, 74, gave evidence by live video link from prison about practices at the Kerelaw residential school and secure unit in Ayrshire, including discipline and restraints.
Muldoon, who was a manager, refused to accept there had been sexual abuse of any kind in his 21 years working there.
Former art teacher George also denied the crimes he was convicted of, adding: “I will deny them until the day I die.”
