A hamstring injury ended Milne's campaign before last season's play-off roller coaster.
Partick Thistle's 2-1 win over Airdrie four days ago saw them negotiate the first two games of six to make it to the top tier, with Raith next up in Maryhill.
Winless against Rovers this season, on it being a good time to end that streak, Milne said: "Absolutely... I'm pretty sure even our record away from home against Raith is really poor.
