A TEENAGER sobbed as she told how Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner exposed himself to her in a playground when she was 11.
The youngster fled in panic to her father, who said he ran to grab the convicted paedophile and found him pretending to make a phone call with a pack of cigarettes.
Brueckner, who is on trial for a string of sex attacks in Portugal, allegedly pulled down his trousers close to where children were playing in the Algarve town of Sao Bartolomeu de Messines in 2017.
With tears rolling down her cheeks, the woman, now 18, told the court she later realised that Brueckner had been performing a sex act.
She said: "I ran straight to my father. I told him what had happened. My father spoke with another man and they rang the police."
