ERIK TEN HAG wants Manchester United to be the dominant force in English football by 2024.

Ten Hag has made an impressive start to life as United boss after being challenged to turn the fallen giants into serial winners again.

United have lost just one of their last 10 games in all competitions. And the Dutchman has revealed his long-term plan is to make United the best team in the Premier League again in the next two years.

Ten Hag, whose side host Aston Villa tonight in the Carabao Cup, said: When we are two years further on, I hope we have developed a way of play.

“It has to be a proactive way, proactive football where we are dominating and dictating games against all competitors, so at the highest level.
