CLEOPATRA'S LOST TOMB?

CLEOPATRA'S beauty and her tragic romance are the stuff of legend, while the location of her final resting place remains one of the world’s great mysteries.

But now, archaeologists believe they have found a tunnel that could lead to her tomb.

Theories suggest Egypt's last queen was buried beneath the Taposiris Magna temple, near the country’s ancient capital of Alexandria.

And excavations and surveys have revealed a passage that is 6ft high and stretches for almost 5000ft.

“If there is a one per cent chance the last queen of Egypt is buried there, it is my duty to look for her.
