Protected species like golden eagle still shot, trapped and poisoned claims RSPB report

PROTECTED birds of prey such as the golden eagle are still being illegally shot, trapped, and poisoned.

A report by the RSPB reveled there were 108 confirmed incidents of bird of prey throughout the UK, where they are protected by law.

The Birdcrime study shows that in the last year, more than two-thirds of all such incidents were linked to land managed for gamebird shooting.
