KYLE VASSELL admits being thrown into a relegation dogfight with Kilmarnock is right up his street after coasting through life at San Diego Loyal.
The Northern Ireland international swapped the USL Championship to sign on at Rugby Park in January and join Killie's battle to avoid the drop which continues today with a key game at Ross County.
They sit three points ahead of a Staggies side in bottom place and Vassell is adamant he's thriving in the Premiership pressure cooker and has no regrets at leaving North America.
The former Blackpool and Rotherham striker said: "I missed the pressure and that intensity. It's great to have that at the minute even though we are at the wrong end of the table. There is something to fight for and I love that.
