- 32C The Met’s predicted temperature by the end of the week
BRITAIN could be hotter than Hawaii this week when a 32C “Spanish plume” sweeps in on Wednesday.
And the mercury could nudge even higher by the end of the week with the Met Office saying the record for the hottest ever June day is set to be broken.
London and the South East will be the balmiest parts of Britain, with Friday the warmest day of the year so far.
The thermometer will hit 26C in Manchester and 21C in Edinburgh.
The Met’s Steven Keates said: “There’s not been much in the way of exceptionally warm days or hot days yet this year, but that is set to change.
