PRINCE William listened to the stories of Ukrainian war refugees in Poland yesterday and hailed the way their resilience "shines out".
Pictured posing with some of those displaced by Russia's invasion on the second day of his visit, he thanked Poles for providing a safe haven.
And the former Household Cavalry officer honoured Poland's Second World War heroes by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw - like his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, did in 1996.
The Prince, 40, was greeted by three women with a sign saying "Thank you for the visit, William" as he visited the city's Hala Koszyki food hall to meet refugees and people supporting them.
