Sources say the Ted Lasso actress, who co-presented the Eurovision Song Contest last year, has been approached by BBC bosses.
And insiders say Hannah - who is a close friend of&nbsp;judge Anton Du Beke is seriously considering their offer.
One said: "Hannah would be an incredible signing for Strictly this year.
"She loves the show and is keen to do it. It's just a question of whether or not it's possible to fit it into her schedule. It's a very big commitment, and she is incredibly in demand."
Hannah, 49, won an Emmy in 2021 for her role as Rebecca Welton in Apple TV drama Ted Lasso. Last year, she presented the Olivier Awards, before teaming up with Graham&nbsp;Norton and Alesha Dixon to host Eurovision in Liverpool in May.
She stole the show at last month's BAFTAs, moving audiences to tears with her performance.
The source went on: "Hannah is fast approaching national treasure status, and she'd be a smash hit with fans." A BBC spokesman declined to comment.
