DAN TICKTUM has apologised to Jake Dennis after he smashed him out of the Sao Paulo E-Prix to leave his title charge in tatters.
Dennis branded fellow British racer Ticktum (above, left) a "plonker" for the rash move, which ended his race.
It means Dennis has now gone three races in a row without a point, allowing Pascal Wehrlein to open up a big lead at the top of the standings.
Ticktum, who was sacked by both the Red Bull and Williams F1 academies due to ill discipline, was able to continue in the race.
