Cotswold Steel Stockholders became the first stockholder - firms which buy, stock and sell steel - to sign the UK Steel Charter.
The charter aims to increase the amount of British steel used in the supply chain, helping to protect homegrown jobs and pumping cash into the economy.

Gareth Stace, director-general of trade body UK Steel, said: "It is great news that a stockholder is committing to using UK-made steel to supply major construction and infrastructure projects.
"Cotswold Steel is leading the field and stepping up to support the UK steel industry as suppliers.
"We look forward to welcoming even more signatories."
