FROM INJURY HELL TO KR DREAMS

TOM OPACIC was left "shattered" when his NRL Grand Final hopes were ruined - but he's now aiming to turn Hull KR into winners.

The Australian centre, 28, is one of the Robins big signings for the new campaign after flying in from Sydney.

He's desperate to get going after being sidelined since pulling a hamstring last season, just two games before Parramatta's title decider against Penrith.

Parramatta missed out on glory that night and Opacic admitted: "I was shattered by it all.

"Knowing I'd signed (for KR) and we'd obviously had a great back end of the year with the Eels, I thought to myself, 'This is the last chance I'll probably get to win - even play in - an NRL Grand Final.

"Unfortunately injuries are part of the game. But it's all healed now and ready to go.
