FRANK Skinner says Sophie Wessex wrote him a “beautiful” letter to say sorry for mocking his singing at the Royal Variety Performance.
The Countess and husband Prince Edward met Frank and sidekick David Baddiel backstage in December after the comics performed football anthem Three Lions at the Royal Albert Hall.
But Frank revealed on his radio show, Sophie had gone in with both feet, telling him: “Don’t give up the day job.”
She also suggested he was not used to performing for such a big crowd.
